Are Seaweed Fertilisers Good for Houseplants?

Seaweed fertiliser has long been recognized for its numerous benefits, and our dropper brings these advantages right to your fingertips. Derived from the Cornish coast, our fertiliser is made from hand harvested seaweed fresh from the beaches of south-west England. The feed contains natural soil amendments packed with micronutrients, minerals, and organic matter that promote plant vigour and improve soil health & quality for your houseplants.

By choosing our Seaweed Leaf Spray / Mister, you’re opting for a product that supports regenerative farming of both land and sea, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly gardening approach. Seaweed is a valuable resource that offers trace elements like iron, manganese, zinc, copper, and boron, which are essential for plant health and often lacking in common fertilizers. Additionally, the natural growth regulators present in seaweed act as growth stimulants, enhancing the overall vitality of your plants.

How to Use

For dusty foliage, wipe down each leaf with a warm watery cloth until a shine is restored. Then, finely spray both sides of the leaves with our seaweed mist until a thin covering is applied. We'd recommend misting your green pals every four weeks throughout the year. (Dusting is only necessary if the foliage is dirty).

Store out of direct sunlight and prevent from freezing, wash hands after use & wear gloves if necessary.

As the following list is rather long, if you're unsure with the ideal feed for your houseplant don't hesitate to send us an email! 😊

Unlike outdoor plants, houseplants are completely reliant on us to keep them well nourished. Although they arrive in compost that contains low levels of fertiliser, these nutrients are quickly used up. That’s why you need to use a good quality houseplant feed, to ensure your houseplants are getting the vital nutrients and vitamins they need to flourish. Less nutrients in the plant will ALWAYS result in a weakened plant, becoming more susceptible to pests, diseases and death.

Inspired by formulations used by the professionals, our Premium Houseplant Tonic contains thirteen perfectly balanced essential nutrients designed to encourage strong, glossy leaves and the growth of longer lasting flowers.
